Last week I updated to the free Homeport from Garmin's webpage since I just bought a new machine on Black Friday and thought I would use the more modern software to transfer over my stored data. From there, connect the Garmin to your software and let the two talk. It will surely let you read in the GPX and then it will internally store it as GDP. If I'm wrong and you really need GDP files, then use Garmin's current MapSource software. Ok I am not familiar with "Bluewater" but used "MapSource" (another Garmin product) for many years. Then your Garmin unit's menu for importing data are used and you're done.
